Raiffeisen - Structure
The Raiffeisen Banking Group (RBG) has a three-tier structure: 548 autonomous local Raiffeisen Banks and their 1.702 branches make up the first tier. The Raiffeisen Banks in Austria’s provinces own their respective Regional Raiffeisen Bank. The eight Regional Raiffeisen Banks make up the organization’s second tier. They perform clearing functions and render other central services for the Raiffeisen Banks within their radius of action. In addition, they operate as autonomous universal banks. Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) is the Raiffeisen Banking Group's central institution, and in that capacity provides central services as the Group’s third tier.
